World Book Day 2009
'From Somalia, with love' will be sent out to UK schools for World Book Day!
World Book Day is the biggest annual celebration of books and reading in the UK and Ireland and will be marked with much enthusiasm on the 5th of March 2009. FSWL will be included in the World Book Day packs that are sent to schools across the UK. Each book is accompanied by activity sheets that teachers can use in their classrooms. The World Book Day website will also link to this site where extension essay and discussion questions will be showcased. The site will also host sample responses written by young readers themselves.
